The European Legal Framework of Artificial Intelligence, Data Law and Platforms
The lecture provides an insight of European regulatory framework for AI, Data Law and Platforms. It helps to understand legal risks and identifying tasks of compliance. Such insights are important in order to identify the applicable regulations in the course of developing, marketing or applying AI driven products, IoT or relevant services as well as the requirements of legal compliance. There are three main tracks, also in line with the European legislation as well as with commercial needs:
- electronic commerce, including sale of digital content and services and liability of online platforms, commercial as well as non-commercial ones
 - outlines of data economy, legal nature of data, transfer of data, and the relevant obligations of IoT producers
 - regulation of Artificial Intelligence, including liability issues

The approach is one of a commercial law, thus protection of personal data (GDPR) is not included in the topics.
Which transversal skills will the session develop?
- risk analysis
 - decision making
